Who we are
The ideas behind be Retail Social have come from its founder, Simon Iddon, through his experience in retail and service provider sectors, including 10 years as a FTSE 250 CIO among similar roles . Having worked extensively in the hospitality sector he observed that many of the techniques and technical solutions that were commonplace that he could easily translate to the clothing and fashion industries to deliver demonstrable, proven benefits.
This knowledge and know-how addresses many of the missed opportunities in the fashion, clothing and sportswear sectors and significantly aids conversion and retention resulting in demonstrable – more spend, fewer returns, more often.
Simon has been joined in the team by highly experienced individuals from the retail and related sectors, also personally skilled in business solution consulting and delivery, system architecture, technology development, finance, marketing and sales. In addition to this team be Retail Social has had several rounds of early investment from a number of incredibly impressive individuals who are adding their know-how, contacts and vast sector experience to the business to the benefit of them and our clients.
